Sin Eater

I'm hungry
Ribs protruding from my skin
Hollowed out
So pretty
So sharp
Gaunt face
Toothy smile

You can give them all to me
I don't mind
Not one bit
It's the least I can do

Stange how emptiness
Can feel so very heavy

Go on
I say
Eyes wide
Place them in my lap
I don't need a plate

I know it's hard to let things go
But I'll keep them safe inside

My fingers split the sins apart
One by one
They're dripping down my bony legs

Call me Persephone
Queen of Spring
Wet with gore
Oh, how I love the juicy bits

My canines sink in
Gnawing at the flesh and grizzle
My mouth stained red
Sticky hands

You can't help yourself but watch
Intently
As I swallow your sins down my throat
Gulping
Gasping
Licking my fingers clean

Would you like a taste?
No?
More for me then, I guess
